FERGUS – A Fergus man is one of 10 people OPP have charged in province-wide child exploitation investigation.
Police in numerous jurisdictions took place in the investigation known as Project Limestone from September 12 to 15.
67-year-old Thyssen Wilfred of Fergus was charged with two counts of Arranging to Commit an Offence Against a Child and Failing to Comply with Release.
He was held for bail and is scheduled to appear for a bail hearing tomorrow in Guelph.
In total, 39 criminal charges were laid.
Investigators utilized undercover techniques to access online chatrooms and social media applications designed for children.
