MOUNT FOREST – Following through on fundraising efforts Sherry Burke described to The Grand at 101 in August, a holiday home tour kicks things off for the Mount Forest Pool Build this Saturday.
Burke took to social media this afternoon and reminded attendees of the “Ladies Night” tonight that tickets to the home tour will raise money for the new pool in Mount Forest.

Pool swag Burke referenced in the previous conversation with the Grand at 101 will be available for sale the day of the event.
The pool project, Burke said, will be an “uphill climb.”
Smaller events like this combined with larger-scale fundraising efforts aim to raise money for the new pool that has long been a talking point for Wellington North council.
The tour runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.
