WELLINGTON COUNTY – A Wellington County OPP officer who was facing multiple sexual assault charges has passed away.
A 21-year member of the Wellington County detachment Mike Dolderman, died on November 17th following a battle with an aggressive cancer, according to his obituary.
In April 2020, OPP arrested and charged Dolderman who was a Sergeant at the time with five counts of sexual assault and five counts of breach of trust.
The allegations had not been proven in court and a trial was scheduled for next year.
Dolderman’s obituary says he grew up in Wellington County attending Centre Wellington District High School, and lived for 25 years in Ennotville with his family.
He was also involved with his church and community.
