FERGUS – Santa is set to make a stop in Fergus Saturday.
The Fergus Santa Claus parade will take place tomorrow at 1:30pm.
Put on by local service clubs including the Lions, Optimist, Kinsmen and Rotary Clubs, this years theme is “Winter Wonderland”.
Organizer Jim Dandy says post office carriers will be collecting letters to Santa, and food bank volunteers will be collecting food items and accepting cash donations for the Christmas Food Drive.
As always the parade will start at the A.O. Smith parking lot, travel down Maple Street, before turning on to St. Andrew Street heading east through Downtown Fergus.
The parade will then turn north onto St. David Street, and west on Hill Street, finishing at the A.O. Smith parking lot.
Dandy says there is still lots of time to get your float entry registered.
Keep an eye out for The Grand at 101 playing your favourite Christmas hits!
