CENTRE WELLINGTON – Budget deliberations in Centre Wellington are in full swing.
At a meeting Thursday, council had a series of “parking lot” items to discuss to reduce the proposed tax increase.
CAO Dan Wilson says there has tentatively been a slight dip in the projected impact on taxpayers.
Council made several decisions in advance of the drop, including renovations for the Centre Wellington Sportsplex that Wilson reports were moved into this year’s forecast.
Another move that played a part in the decrease, Wilson told the Grand at 101, relates to termite management money.
The deliberations continue this morning in Centre Wellington council chambers.
