MOUNT FOREST – As a result of a nurse staffing shortage, Louise Marshall Hospital Emergency Department will close on Saturday, December 30th at 5:00 p.m. and will reopen on Sunday, December 31st at 7:00 a.m.
Patients are asked to call 911 in the case of a medical emergency. For non-urgent health care call Health Connect Ontario at 811, which is available 24/7 for non-emergency health-related questions.
Ambulances will remain available to the community and reroute to surrounding hospitals.
