FERGUS – UK filmmakers are on the search for a Canadian stuntman who hasn’t been seen in the public eye for years.
A documentary crew from Astronaut Films in London U.K want help finding ‘The Human Fly’ they believe could be living in Fergus.
Tony Babinski, President of Human Fly international says ‘The Human Fly’ or believed to be named Rick Rojatt was a Canadian stuntman active in the 1970s who wore a full red suit.
The Canadian stuntman also inspired the 1970s Marvel series named after him.
After the final stunt in Montreal, Rojatt was never seen again.
The film crew is currently producing a documentary about the stunts, ‘The Human Fly’ and the search for the last missing piece, the man himself.
Lucy Wallace, Executive Producer with Astronaut Films says they would love to connect with Rojatt at least for a conversation without there being any pressure to appear in the documentary.
She says a real estate agent recently reached out from Fergus who said they met Rojatt.
Babinski says finding Rojatt would be very timely because there is a new Human Fly comic coming out in July under IPI comics which is an Australian company that just launched.
Wallace says if they do find Rick Rojatt, the plan is to fly to Ontario.
So, do you know The Human Fly?
