MOUNT FOREST – Wellington County OPP have laid charges in a Mount Forest donation box theft.
Over the weekend, video surfaced of a theft from a charity donation box that police say took place on February 3rd just before 9 a.m.
Police announced Thursday via a media release a suspect has been identified and charged.

As a result of the investigation, police say they have charged a 33-year-old from Mount Forest with Theft Under $5000 contrary to the Criminal Code.
They are scheduled to appear in a Guelph court in late March.
