GUELPH – Guelph Police have charged a man with murder and committing an indignity to a dead body after police recovered human remains in a greenspace off Carrington Place on February 1st.
Police say investigation has confirmed they are the remains of a 62-year-old Guelph male who was last seen downtown the morning of December 6th and was reported missing two days later.
On Friday February 9th, a 27-year-old Guelph man was arrested for second-degree murder and committing an indignity to a human body. Police say the accused and the victim were known to each other.
The accused will appear in a Guelph bail court Saturday.
