CENTRE WELLINGTON – Both Fergus and Elora Hockey teams are headed to the playoffs.
The Elora Rocks secured the 8th playoff spot over the weekend in the WOSHL.
On Friday, the Rocks were home at the Jefferson Elora Community Centre, taking a 6-2 win over the Orangeville Blitz.
Last night, the Rocks hosted the Delhi Flames getting a 7-4 win securing them a playoff spot.
The Rocks will now face the first place Stratford Fighting Irish in the Best of 5, on a date still to be determined.
Meanwhile, the Fergus Whalers played at home at the Centre Wellington Sportsplex on Friday.
The Whalers got a 5-2 win over the Wingham Ironmen, however on Saturday the Whalers fell to the Kincardine Bulldogs 6-1.
It’s playoff time now in the PJHL with the Quarter Final Series, the Whalers will take on the Walkerton Capitals tomorrow night at 9pm.
