CENTRE WELLINGTON – Centre Wellington Fire & Rescue and Crime Stoppers Guelph Wellington are partnering to offer a special young person a day they’ll never forget.
The two are teaming up to make this youth “Fire Chief for a Day.”
A media release says starting March 13, 2024, anyone who makes a minimum $10 donation to CSGW through the website at www.csgw.tips will be entered into a draw for their special young person to be an honorary Youth Fire Chief for a Day.
The draw will occur on April 2nd and the winner will be contacted that day.
There is one entry per donor, and the youth fire chief must be 12 years of age or younger. Those 10 or under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
The youth fire chief for a day winner will receive swag from both partnering organizations, a chief’s shirt, lunch with the chief and more.
CSGW urges those interested to enter for the chance to give their favourite little fire fighter a chance to be chief for a day.
