ERIN – An arts event in Erin is looking for a Municipal Significance Designation for their inaugural ‘Arts by the Pond’ in May.
The group will be delegating before Erin council this afternoon in hopes of receiving the designation.
Run by ‘Over Here,’ a community arts organization, the festival will take place on the library grounds in Hillsburgh.
Organizers say the event will span throughout the trailway and at the trailhead of the old Hillsburgh Train Station. They say they believe this festival will generate momentum for the trailway and improve the wellbeing of the community.
The council meeting in Erin will kick off at 3 p.m.
