ERIN – Erin’s Fire Chief was presented with a special award.
In a post to X, the Town of Erin said Rob Adams who assumed the role Monday as CAO, presented Fire Services Chief Jim Sawkins with the “Energizer Bunny Award” during an all-staff meeting.
The township says “the laurel was bestowed in recognition for all Jim’s energy while performing dual roles as fire chief and interim CAO.”
Last August, Sawkins took over as interim CAO when Nathan Hyde moved on to the Town of Caledon.
