FERGUS – Groves Hospital Foundation is one of 51 hospitals across the province involved in the Split the Pot Lottery.
The lottery has already seen over $1,600,000 in ticket sales, and the jackpot is nearing $1,000,000.
A news release explains one winner will take home 60 per cent of the jackpot, 2 winners will split 20 per cent, and 10 winners will divvy up the remaining 20 per cent.
The deadline is Thursday, March 21st at midnight to enter.
Those doing so can choose to direct the net proceeds from their ticket purchase to their local hospital, or they can support all participating hospitals and the net proceeds from their purchase will be divided equally among the lottery’s 51 hospital partners, Split the Pot explains.
They say in the fall, Amanda Taylor purchased in support of all hospitals and took home over $372,000.
Tickets can be purchased 10 for $10 in advance of the draw on Friday, March 22nd.
