ABOYNE- The Insights Juried Exhibition of Fine Arts is back at the Wellington County and Archives from April 18th to June 30th insights wants local artists to submit their work to showcase.
The exhibition is one of the longest running in Canada, they will open their doors with an opening gala that will run from 7 to 9PM admission is by donation.
The exhibit is organized and sponsored by the Insights Committee of the Elora Fergus Arts Council and is one of the longest running juried art exhibitions in Ontario.
“The Insights Juried Exhibition of Fine Arts is a testament to the exceptional talent and creativity of artists in Wellington County and neighboring communities,” said Susan Thorning, Co-Chair of the Insights Committee. “We are excited to showcase their work and celebrate their artistic accomplishments.”

- New: artists must register online before delivering their artwork to the WCMA. Registration is open until April 3.
- Submissions are accepted from artists residing in the Counties of Wellington, Dufferin, Grey, Huron, and Perth, and the City of Guelph.

The Exhibition’s Opening Gala will take place on Thursday, April 18 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm with the Awards Presentation at 8:00 pm. Admission is by donation, all are welcome to enjoy refreshments, a cash bar, and cast an early vote for the People’s Choice Award.
The voting for this award will extend throughout the exhibit, with the winner to be announced on Friday, June 21 at 1:00 pm.
The Insights Committee has also organized a Walk with the Jurors on Saturday, April 20, from 1:30 to 3:00 pm. Jurors Angela Snieder, Pearl van Geest, and Joanne Poluch will discuss their decision-making process and the influences on this year’s show.
