ERIN – Delegating before council this afternoon, Erin Citizens’ Climate Lobby will be vouching for a greener future in the Town of Erin.
A lettter submitted to the town’s director of planning and devlopment begs the question, what is the best opportunity for a small Ontario municipality like Erin to prevent significant increases in emissions?
The letter goes on to say the Climate Lobby recommends cold-climate heat pumps and no natural gas in future Erin homes.
The climate lobby explains heat pumps are exceptionally efficient, and provide cooling with similar efficiency to a conventional AC unit.
The meeting in Erin will begin today at 3 p.m.
