FERGUS – Residents can expect delays Wednesday and Thursday this week in Fergus as work gets underway for the St. David Street Reconstruction project.
In a post to social media, the township of Centre Wellington says before the first phase of construction can begin for the St. David Street Reconstruction project, Enbridge Gas is currently undergoing gas mainline upgrades that will prepare the location for the Township’s sewer and water infrastructure renewal.
The township says as part of this work, Enbridge’s Contractor Aecon Utilities will be flagging traffic on St. David Street North at Hill Street on Wednesday, April 3rd and Thursday, April 4th from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. avoiding peak traffic hours.
“Two-way traffic will be maintained however delays may occur due to the flagging traffic control,” the township said.
