WELLINGTON COUNTY – If you are keen to view the solar eclipse on Monday, the Wellington County Library is recommending that you source your own solar eclipse glasses.
In an email to The Grand at 101, Rebecca Hine, Chief Librarian says the Wellington County Library will have extremely limited quantities of glasses on the day of the Solar Eclipse and they don’t want to disappoint anyone.
Hines says they have received multiple calls expecting the library has thousands of these special glasses to hand out, and says that is not the case at all.
Hines is recommending residents source their own solar eclipse glasses.
There will also be no viewing events taking place at any of the county library branches.
