A Guelph man is recovering from a serious facial injury but he refuses to say how it happened.
Guelph Police got several 911 calls around 9 a.m. Monday, about a man with a significant laceration to his nose and lip in the area of Waterloo Avenue and Edinburgh Road South. He was bleeding badly enough that responding officers followed a trail of blood and found a broken glass bottle with blood on it.
The man was taken to hospital for treatment but would not say what happened, only that he fell.
