GUELPH – An elderly Guelph woman was charged after hitting a woman pushing her baby in a stroller Thursday morning.
At around 11:45am, Guelph Police were called to the intersection of Woolwich Street and London Road East.
Police say investigation revealed a mother was pushing her three-month-old in a stroller when they were hit within the crosswalk.
“The baby was not injured and the mother reported very minor injuries,” police said in a news release.
An 83-year-old Guelph woman is charged under the Highway Traffic Act with failing to yield to pedestrians.
