CENTRE WELLINGTON – Centre Wellington is getting set to celebrate Canada Day on Monday.
Paula Sealey Community Development Coordinator says the day begins bright and early in Elora.
The derby will get underway at 8am.
Sealey says this year’s Canada Day celebrations will be extra special.
The Dominion Day Parade will then follow at 11 am through the streets of Elora.
A free hotdog lunch will be served at Bissell Park by the Elora Lions at Noon, with music and cupcakes, and the Community Resource Centre will host the famous duck race at 1:30 pm.
In the evening, the celebrations will move to the CW Community Sportsplex in Fergus at 7pm, featuring music, food, and a fireworks display at 9:30 pm.
