ELORA- Grand River Raceway’s popular Wiener Dog Races are set to return to the track this Friday.
Described as “the most adorable race of the season”, 30 dachshunds will race in three heats of 9 or 10 dogs in between the horse races.
Louise Frost, Marketing Coordinator at the Raceway says its a fun evening for the entire family.
The three winners from each heat move on to the final race consisting of 9 dogs who will dash to the finish line to take home the title of top dog.
The event is set for this Friday at 6:30pm with the Wiener Dog Races after Race #4 at 7:45pm.
