FERGUS – Construction work continues across the township including in Fergus.
The Township of Centre Wellington is out with a notice to residents that the contractor for the St David St. road reconstruction project is ready to replace the underground watermain and sewer infrastructure at the St David Street and Garafraxa Street intersection.
The township says this intersection is included in the scope of work for the first phase of the project and will close from July 15 until December 15th.
In addition, the County of Wellington will also be closing Garafraxa Street East between Cameron Street and Herrick Street to through traffic.
The project is scheduled to start in the upcoming weeks and is expected to be completed by August 30th.
