FERGUS – The Fergus Thistles Jr C lacrosse team is getting set for the Ontario final with Game #1 tonight in Fergus.
Last week, the Thistles were crowned Western Conference Champions after a 9-4 win over the Orangeville Northmen.

This is only the 2nd time in franchise history that the Thistles have won the Western Conference and will be playing in the Ontario finals.
The Thistles will face off against the Peterborough Lakers for the coveted Meredith Cup in Game # tonight at 8 pm at the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex.
Game 2 will take place Friday night in Peterborough.
