FERGUS – It was a winning weekend for the Fergus Whalers Junior Hockey Club.
The Whalers who play in the Provincial Junior Hockey League, headed to Kincardine on Saturday to take on the Bull Dogs.
Fergus came out on top with a 3-2 win.
On Sunday, the Whalers were back home in Fergus at the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex taking on the Mount Forest Patriots.
The Whalers had a huge comeback goal with only 4.8 seconds left in the 3rd period to tie the game 3-3.
Fergus took the win in OT, scoring a 4-3 victory and 2 points over the Patriots.
