NEWS RELEASE WELLINGTON COUNTY OPP
(ERIN, ON) – The Wellington County, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) – Major Crime Unit is currently investigating an arson which took place on September 27, 2024, in the early hours of the morning involving numerous semi-detached residences being damaged.
While the Major Crime Unit is currently investigating the matter, residents from the Town of Erin, specifically within the Erin Glen subdivision, those along Wellington County Road 50 and Wellington Road 124, are being asked to check their surveillance footage/dash cam footage between the hours of 11:00 p.m. (September 26) to 01:00 a.m. (September 27) in the hopes to identify two different suspicious motor vehicles believed to be linked to the investigation.
The two motor vehicles looking to be observed are as follows:
- A 2023 black coloured Honda CRV EX-L
- A grey coloured Land Rover type motor vehicle
