ABOYNE – Each year, the Wellington County Museum and Archives installs over 500 markers on the front lawn of the museum to commemorate the contributions of the fallen (from the First World War to Afghanistan) from Wellington County.
The Museum says it is looking for volunteers and has 16 volunteer spots available.
Training will be provided, but organizers say it’s a physically demanding task and will require appropriate dress for working outdoors in early November.
Registration closes tomorrow.
