CENTRE WELLINGTON – The Township of Centre Wellington is out with a reminder to residents that from November 1st to March 31st there is no on-street parking between the hours of 2am and 6am daily.
The township says the municipal by-law prohibits overnight parking on streets to ensure staff can keep roads clear during the winter season.
The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) enforces this under the Hwy Traffic Act, and the township says vehicles will be ticketed, and or towed at the owner’s expense.
Starting November 1, the Township Parking By-law prohibits on-street parking between 2:00 am – 6:00 am.
