ROCKWOOD – The countdown is officially on for the annual Rockwood Farmers’ Santa Claus Parade of Lights.
In its 32nd year, the parade will be held on December 12th, including farm equipment decked out in holiday lights and of course a visit from Santa.
The website says “the Parade route this year will begin at 7:00 pm on the Fifth Line (County Road 27 or Main Street in Rockwood) just north of the village limits. The parade will proceed south to the stop light and then turn west and travel towards Guelph on Highway 7. Finally, the parade will turn north on the Fourth Line of Eramosa as it heads back to the North Pole.”
Organizers say “In order to see the parade in the village of Rockwood, be sure to get there early! The village fills up quickly so it might be wise to give yourself lots of time!”
Parking is available on the 4th line, and the parade reaches there at about 7:40pm.
