FERGUS – After spreading cheer in Elora last weekend, Santa Claus is heading to Fergus this Saturday.
The Fergus Santa Claus parade will take place at 1:30 pm tomorrow, featuring a different parade route due to the ongoing St. David Street reconstruction.
Organizer Jim Dandy says the parade will still start from the AO Smith parking lot.
As always, Dandy says big crowds are expected to fill the streets of Downtown Fergus.
This year’s theme is “Rockin Around the Christmas Tree”.
Dandy notes that, due to the ongoing Canada Post strike, letters to Santa will not be collected at the parade.
Centre Wellington Food Bank volunteers will be collecting food items and accepting cash donations for the Christmas Food Drive.
