CENTRE WELLINGTON – It was another busy weekend of hockey for the Elora Rocks and Fergus Whalers.
The Rocks kicked off the action at home Friday night at the Jefferson Elora Community Centre taking on the Strathroy Jets, Elora got a big 7-2 win over Strathroy.
Meanwhile, the Fergus Whalers were on the road Saturday in Hanover to take on the Barons, securing a 2-1 win in Overtime.
The Whalers were back home Sunday at the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex as they hosted the Mount Forest Patriots.
Fergus lost that game 1-0.
