Rainfall Warning in effect for:
- Guelph – Erin – Southern Wellington County
Significant rainfall is expected.
The frozen ground has a reduced ability to absorb this rainfall.
Hazards: Rainfall amounts of 20 to 40 mm Ponding of water on roads.
Timing: Beginning Sunday morning and ending Sunday night.
Discussion: Rain will begin Sunday morning and may be heavy at times.
The rain will taper to isolated showers Sunday night. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible.
Don’t approach washouts near rivers, creeks and culverts.
Keep children and pets away from creeks and river banks. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
