NEWS RELEASE WELLINGTON COUNTY OPP
(TOWN OF ERIN, ON) – The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charges Erin resident criminally in relation to an intimate partner violence investigation.
On January 15, 2025, at approximately 5:00 p.m., members of the Wellington County OPP were dispatched to a report of a disturbance at an address in the Town of Erin.
As a result of the investigation, a 59-year-old of Erin, is charged under the Criminal Code with the following:
- Adult Uttering Threats – Cause death of Bodily Harm – Spousal
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
The OPP will not release names to protect the identity of the victims.
