WELLINGTON-HALTON HILLS – Three nominees are looking to become the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario’s next representative for Wellington-Halton Hills.
Kyle Coffey, Ross McKenzie, and Joseph Racinsky have received approval from the party’s provincial nominations committee.
This comes after longtime MPP Ted Arnott, who also serves as Speaker of the Legislature, announced in October that he won’t be seeking re-election.
According to a social media post, Kyle Coffey grew up on a farm north of Fergus. He attended Centre Wellington District High School and later earned a degree in international business and administration from Wilfrid Laurier University. He currently works as an economic business development officer with the Town of Oakville.
Ross Mckenzie who lives in Inveraugh worked for the province for 17 years, including 10 at Queen’s Park, for the Ministry of Agriculture and Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, according to his nominee website.
In a statement from Joseph Racinsky, says he is currently the Ward 2 councillor for the Town of Halton Hills and has served as a constituency assistant to an MPP and managed the Ontario PC party’s summer internship program.
