NEWS RELEASE DUFFERIN COUNTY OPP
(ORANGEVILLE, ON) – Members of the Dufferin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a Break and Enter into a local laundromat.
On February 13, 2025, members of the Dufferin County OPP were called to a laundromat located on Broadway in the Town of Orangeville for reports of a Break and Enter. On February 8, 2025 a suspect entered the laundromat at approximately 2:00a.m., and proceeded to the change machine in which they successfully damaged and stole $10,000 in coins.
The suspect is described as Male, Caucasian, 5’8 – 5’10, heavy build, wearing a black jacket, black gloves and a black and white paisley patterned mask over their face.
Businesses are asked to keep an eye out for an individual matching the above description entering their establishments and paying with a large quantity of change.
