CENTRE WELLINGTON – All schools in the Upper Grand District School Board (UGDSB) and Wellington Catholic District School Board (WCDSB) are closed today (Tuesday February 18th).
The UGDSB says “Due to inclement weather and accumulated snowfall, all UGDSB schools and offices are closed today to staff and students. Students are to shift to remote learning, where possible. Staff should not report to work in person, and should shift to remote working where possible. All buses and taxis are cancelled to Upper Grand schools.”
The WCDSB says “All Wellington Catholic DSB Schools and Board Office will be closed today due to ongoing inclement weather event and advisories for the region. Community Use of Schools will also be closed due to ongoing effects of local weather event. Student safety is our priority. Thank you for your understanding.”
Wellington-Dufferin Student Transportation Services also says all school buses are cancelled today (February 18th) in:
- Zone One (South Wellington, Guelph, and Puslinch
- Zone Two (Centre Wellington, Town of Erin, and Rockwood)
- Zone Three (North Wellington)
- Zone Four (Dufferin)
All School taxis and buses are CANCELLED in ALL ZONES.

The County of Wellington says both the Mount Forest Child Care and Learning Centre and Palmerston Child Care and Learning Centre are closed today.
