CENTRE WELLINGTON – Following heavy snow fall in Centre Wellington, the township has begun snow removal in both downtown cores.
In a post to social media on Thursday, the township had announced that in the last 24 hours, snow plow operators and staff hauled over 200 truckloads of snow from Downtown Fergus on Thursday morning.
“Thank you so much to our dedicated (and tired) staff!,” the township said.
The township is also reminding residents that snow removal in Downtown Elora is scheduled to begin at 3am tomorrow (Friday) morning.
“Please ensure your vehicles are off the street so the downtown area can be effectively cleared,” the township said.
