MAPLETON – A serious collision near Alma has closed a County Road.
This morning at around 6:30am, Wellington County OPP, alongside local emergency services responded to a two vehicle collision on Wellington Road 17, between Wellington Road 8 and Third Line West, involving one of the drivers being ejected.
Police say both drivers from the vehicles have sustained serious injuries, and have been since been transported to a trauma centre.
The section of the road is expected to remain closed for a number of hours for the protection of emergency responders and to facilitate the investigation.
