PERTH WELLINGTON – Matthew Rae, MPP for Perth-Wellington issued the following statement this afternoon:
“Today, President Trump has decided to violate the Canada-United States-Mexico trade agreement, a trade deal he signed in his first term, by leveeing a 25 per cent tariff on all Canadian goods.
“Premier Ford has been clear since day one, Ontario will use every tool in our toolbox to respond to these unjust tariffs.
“Canadians are a strong and resilient people. We will weather this storm and emerge stronger.
