WELLINGTON NORTH – The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charges Mount Forest resident in relation to an intimate partner violence investigation.
On March 10, 2025, at approximately 10:30 a.m., members of the Wellington County OPP were dispatched to a report of a disturbance at an address within Wellington North Township.
On March 13, 2025, as a result of the investigation, a 44-year-old from Mount Forest is charged under the Criminal Code with:
- Assault – Spousal (two counts)
- Mischief – Domestic
- Failure to comply with undertaking
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
The OPP will not release names to protect the identity of the victims.
