GUELPH- A house fire earlier this week that claimed the life of one person and seriously injured another has been deemed not suspicious in nature.
On Wednesday, the Guelph Fire Department, Guelph Police Service, and the Office of the Fire Marshall began an investigation with respect to a house fire on Sunset Road in Guelph.
Police say a 41-year-old man was pronounced deceased at the scene and a 40-year-old woman remains in a Hamilton hospital.
After two days of investigation this fire was deemed not suspicious, ending police involvement.
