ERIN – A three-month road closure is coming to Erin, starting next week to facilitate the town’s water and wastewater linear construction work.
In a post to social media, the Town of Erin says Dundas Street East from Credit River Road to 10th Line will be closed from March 31 to June 30, 2025.
Only local traffic, school buses, and emergency vehicles will be allowed access. Credit River Road is assigned as a detour for all other traffic.
Kapp Infrastructure is conducting the work that will include:
- Sanitary sewer work from Main St. to Tomwell Cres. W., and Sutton Rd. to 10th Line along Dundas St. E.
- Storm sewer work from Credit River Rd. to 10th Line along Dundas St., E. (All water and sanitary services up to the property line)
- Full roadway reconstruction with new curbs and gutters, sidewalk, and asphalt. (Dundas St., E. from Main St. to 10 Line).
The township says Kapp Infrastructure will be holding a Public Open House on Wednesday, March 26 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, 12 Dundas St., E. to update the public on the work’s progress.
