GUELPH- A Kitchener resident faces charges after driving the wrong way in Guelph.
On Friday night at around 8:30 pm, Wellington County OPP encountered a vehicle travelling the wrong way on the Hanlon Parkway near Kortright Road West, in Guelph.
Police say a vehicle was observed travelling northbound in the southbound lanes. The officer managed to stop the vehicle without incident.
As a result, a 44-year-old of Kitchener, has been charged with;
· Careless Driving
· Fail to surrender permit for motor vehicle
· Fail to surrender insurance card
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Guelph court at a later date.
