PUSLINCH – The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charges Cambridge resident with stunt driving.
On April 9, 2025, at approximately 8:15 p.m., a member of the Wellington County OPP was performing a proactive traffic enforcement initiative and observed a motor vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed, which led to a traffic stop being initiated on Gore Road West within Puslinch Township.
As a result of the investigation, a 37-year-old from Cambridge is charged under the Highway Traffic Act with the following:
- Drive motor vehicle – Perform stunt – Excessive speed
- Speeding 50+ km/h over posted limit
- Fail to surrender permit for motor vehicle
Anyone charged with Drive Motor Vehicle – Perform stunt receives a 14-day impoundment and a 30-day driver’s licence suspension as per statute.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Provincial Offences Court – Guelph, at a later date.
