GUELPH-ERAMOSA – Wellington County OPP have arrested and charged an individual responsible for a break and enter in Guelph Eramosa Township.
On April 27, 2025, at approximately 6:30 a.m., OPP were called to an active report of a break and enter / theft which occurred at a local residence on Second Line. It was reported that the caller was in fresh foot-pursuit of the suspect, whom they located on their property.
Shortly thereafter, police arrived on scene, located the suspect and arrested them without issue.
As a result of the investigation, a 33-year-old of Guelph man was charged under the Criminal Code with:
- Possession of break-in instruments
- Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 (two counts)
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
