PUSLINCH – Construction season is in full swing around the County, including more work set for Wellington Road 35 this summer.
The Wellington County Roads Committee approved staff to award a tender to Brantco Construction in Cambridge to reconstruct Wellington Road 35 from Wellington Road 34 to Gore Road in Puslinch.
The project is set to cost $3.275 million.
Staff say the project will be funded with $2.605 million from the Roads Capital Reserve and $670,000 from the Canada Community Building Fund.
Work will include full-depth recycling of the road base with expanded asphalt stabilization, one lift of hot mix asphalt and pavement markings, and some intersection improvements.
The road will remain open to one lane of traffic during construction, and delays should be anticipated.
No specific date has been announced yet for the project.
