BELWOOD- The 43rd Annual Belwood Lions Pike Derby is set to take place May 24th and 25th.
Join the Belwood and District Lions Club for one of the region’s most anticipated fishing events, right on the waters of Belwood Lake. Whether you’re casting from a boat or the shoreline, you’re invited to compete for some serious cash and prizes.
Every year, cash is king—with $2,000 for the longest Pike and $1,500 for the longest Walleye. Plus, second through fourth place in each category will reel in even more cash prizes: $750, $500, and $300 respectively.
Youth anglers and kids under 8 can also win big, and every child 8 and under is guaranteed a prize, just for entering.
All fish entered earn a mystery grab bag, and there are raffle prizes as well as a 50/50 draw throughout the weekend. It all wraps up at the Belwood Hall on Sunday afternoon with the official prize presentations.
Register online now at pikederby.org or in person at Belwood Hall—Friday evening from 6 to 8 PM, or anytime during the Derby on Saturday from 6 AM to 8 PM and Sunday 6 AM to 3 PM.
So pack your tackle box and bring the family—it’s a weekend of fishing, fun, and community spirit.
Proudly hosted by the Belwood and District Lions Club, with special thanks to all sponsors and volunteers.
