ARTHUR – The Arthur Food Bank will be moving to a temporary location while its current space undergoes renovations.
In a letter posted to their Facebook page, the food bank said it will be temporarily moving to the Arthur Arena for the next several months while its current space in the Arthur Municipal Offices is renovated.
The food bank says that at this temporary location, there is no storage space, so the food bank board has decided that it will give out grocery gift cards to each family as it did during the pandemic.
All food bank items that were previously donated and in their possession have been taken to the Centre Wellington Food Bank.
The Arthur Food Bank says it will continue to work with CW Food Bank, storing food items they receive until they are back in their newly renovated space.
