District 18 OSSTF and Upper Grand ETFO will be co-hosting an education forum on Thursday, May 22nd from 7:00-8:30pm at Centre Wellington District High School in Fergus (905 Scotland St.).
Green MPP and education critic Aislinn Clancy will headline this event as a panelist.
Cheryl Lampkin, president of the D18 OSSTF EA/ECE bargaining unit; Ramzi Abdi, an LTO teacher from Waterloo; and Lynda McDougall, a retired principal from UGDSB; will also be part of the panel.
The event will examine the state of education in Ontario including provincial underfunding, violence in schools, and the mental health of students and staff.
Coffee, tea and snacks will be provided.
