WELLINGTON NORTH -The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested one person after windows were broken at several downtown Arthur businesses and residences in the early morning hours of May 25, 2025.
On Sunday May 25, 2025, at approximately 5:45 a.m., Wellington County OPP responded to a report of an individual that was breaking windows along George Street in Arthur.
Upon police arrival, a suspect was located nearby and arrested.
In total, five businesses and two private residences were damaged.
As a result of the investigation, a 45-year-old man of no fixed address is charged with:
- Mischief-destroys or damages property (seven counts)
